Blind Luck
Michael Savage, 29, says he got into a fight with neighbors in his Sacramento, Calif., apartment complex and, to escape them, jumped off his second-storey balcony and ran while shooting at the pursuers behind him. He ran into a nearby retirement complex screaming for help. “Unfortunately, he’s got a gun and he thinks people are chasing him,” says police Sgt. Justin Risley. “And he’s legally blind. So he fires a couple of shots down the hallway. Fortunately, he doesn’t hurt anybody.” Officers found no evidence anyone was ever chasing Savage. He was arrested on weapons charges. (Sacramento Bee) ...He’s in good company: justice is blind too.
